All items purchased directly from andyscarpets.co.uk include a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.


1) What the 12-Month Warranty Covers

Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended household use, including:

  • Structural failure of frames, joints, welds, or fixings
  • Defective hardware or fittings supplied with the product (e.g., bolts, springs, chains)
  • Early material failure (e.g., splitting boards, seized mechanisms) not caused by misuse

2) What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper assembly or installation, or unauthorised modification/repair
  • Normal wear and tear, surface marks/scratches, fabric pilling, colour variation, or age-related fading
  • Weather or element damage (including rust, mould, UV fading) where care guidance or protective covers were not used, or items were left exposed contrary to instructions
  • Accidental damage, spills or stains, and commercial/professional use (unless the item is specified for that use)
  • Products purchased from unauthorised resellers or third-party marketplaces (please contact the original seller)

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.


3) How to Make a Warranty Claim

Include:

  • Order number and purchase date
  • Description of the issue and when it was first noticed
  • Clear photos (and a short video if helpful) showing the fault and the whole item
  • Your preferred remedy (replacement part / replacement item / refund)

Tip: Keep all packaging and do not attempt repairs unless advised — this helps us resolve your claim quickly.


4) Our Remedies

If your claim is approved within 12 months of delivery, we will, at our discretion, provide one of the following at no cost to you:

We also cover all shipping costs for approved warranty replacements or parts.


5) Return of Defective Items

In most cases, we do not require a return if the defect is clearly evidenced.

If a return is necessary, we will email a pre-paid, trackable label or arrange a courier collection and provide packing instructions.

Returns sent without authorisation or outside the warranty period may be refused.


6) Scope & Limitations

  • Warranty starts on the delivery date and applies to the original purchaser and delivery address.
  • Warranty applies to domestic/indoor use, unless the product is specifically rated for outdoor or commercial use.
  • For outdoor items, use a protective cover and follow storage/care instructions during bad weather and winter months.
